I’m participating in Susannah Conway’s August Break. Instead of my normal posts, I’ll be posting a simple photo every day for the month of August. I’m doing to do my best to follow along with Susannah’s intriguing prompts. Today’s prompt is: Memory. I love this picture I snapped of Brian working on the demo of our old closet structure to make way for the installation of our shiny new closet organization system. The lighting wasn’t terrific (we’re hoping to replace that shortly), but I just love the smirk on his face even though he was doing some pretty tough labor in the middle of a hot day (and he hates the heat)! As I tried to be helpful but found myself mostly in the way, my heart filled with love for this man as we seriously cross over into this life of domesticity where we get excited about closet organization systems and home improvement projects. I guess this is settling down for real.
